India has become a global leader in cryptocurrency adoption, showcasing strong demand and sustained interest in digital assets."

Even more importantly, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman confirmed ongoing discussions within G20 member countries to formulate a comprehensive global framework for cryptocurrencies during India's presidency at this year's G20 summit.

The Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index by Chainalysis in 2023, published in September, highlights India's leading position in cryptocurrency adoption at the local level, positioning the country at the forefront of global trends in the crypto space.
