The percentage of bitcoins that have not moved in at least a year dropped from 70% to 65.8% in three months. This may indicate that some investors realized their profits in a rising market.
On Monday, 12.95 million BTC, or 65.84% of the total supply (19.67 million BTC), remained unchanged for more than a year, according to analytics firm Glassnode. This is the lowest figure since October 2022.
Since the end of December, the percentage of Bitcoins that have not moved in at least two years has dropped from 57.4% to 54%.
According to MacroMicro's website, the decline in the percentage of inactive BTC could be a "harbinger of the end of the bull market."
