BlackRock Bitcoin ETF holds more Bitcoin than MicroStrategy

On March 11, Cointelegraph reported that the holdings of BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF have exceeded MicroStrategy’s cryptocurrency holdings. According to data compiled by BitMEX Research, as of March 8, BlackRock’s IBIT held 197,943 Bitcoins worth more than $13.5 billion, nearly 40 months after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved nine new funds on January 10 trading day.
